After 4 days of implementation of the program “One transaction – One helping hand”, BIDV accumulated VND1 billion and presented the money to the National Hospital of Tropical Diseases in Dong Anh district in order to support doctors and health workers to feel more confident in fighting the Covid-19. This is the first batch of presenting donation of the program.

Mr. Pham Trong Hung - Deputy Director of BIDV Dong Hanoi - said: “At present, the front line health workers should be paid much care, protection and support by the community. Through the program, BIDV wishes to join customers to spread the spirit of phylanthropy and responsibility for the community, joining the country to combat the disease ”. Dr. Le Van Dung - Deputy Director of the National Hospital of Tropical Diseases in Dong Anh district, Hanoi shared: “We feel touched by the attention of the people and the bank. This is a great motivation for us to well accomplish our tasks, overcome the current difficulties as well as next ones”.

One of the most difficult problems that face hospitals is ensuring the health and spirit for doctors and medical staff who are undertaking very large workloads in the context of increasingly complex pandemic The "One transaction - One helping hand” program was launched from 4 April to 15 April 2020. For each transfer transaction to other account holder conducted via BIDV SmartBanking and BIDV Online, BIDV will deduct VND1,000 from the bank's source to support the prevention of the Covid-19. This is one among activities and solutions that BIDV implements to encourage customers to conduct online transactions, preventing the spread of Covid-19 as well as promoting the digital economy in Vietnam. Just after 4 days (from 4 April to 7 April 2020), the cumulative amount of the program had reached over VND1 billion.
